Threading is one of the most effective non-surgical procedures for face lifting and rejuvenation.
WHAT IS A THREAD LIFTING?
Threads lifting is a procedure in which special fibers will be introduced into the skin or under it to pull it up. This will happen mechanically and by stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin in the skin.
TYPES OF THREADS
The threads may differ in the material from which they are made (caprolactan, polypropylene, polydioxanone), in the shape of thread (straight, mono, double, spiral, with spikes, knots, notches, hooks), in the duration of the effect (from 1 to 5 years) in the absorbability by the skin (non-absorbable (surgical), partially absorbable, absorbable). They also may be with needles or cannulas.
INDICATIONS FOR THREAD FACE LIFTING
The main indications are: ptosis -the omission of tissues under the action of time and gravity, wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, on the temples, on the cheeks; omission of the corners of the eyebrows, the corners of the month, of the middle third of the face, nasolabial folds; sagging of cheekbones and cheeks, sagging skin in the submandibular zone; double chin; flabbiness of neck and décolleté.
AT WHAT AGE SHOULD YOU SHOULD BE TIGHTENED BY THREAD
In fact, it is possible to tighten the face with threads at the age of 25-35 years, to eliminate a double chin, to tighten the cheeks, to create a clear contour of the face, to strengthen the skin and to prevent age-related ptosis. In the period of 35-45 years, a facelift will help smooth out age-related changes and delay the need to resort to radical methods for a long time. For patients 45-55 years old, a facelift may be an alternative to a surgical facelift, especially if the face care routine was regular before that. It is also advisable to tighten the face with threads after 60 years: in order to improve the effect of various anti-aging procedures, prolonging the result of a surgical lift.
